The Idea of this evening is for members to present triptychs of their work. For those that don’t know, a Triptych is a group of 3 images, shown together. The origin is religious icons. These consisted of a central image and two peripheral images. The side images were often hinged so that they could be folded over to cover the central image.
In photography a Triptych consists three images displayed together all being the same height. The central image may be of a different width to the two side images. You can enter up to 6 Triptychs. To qualify they must each have a single theme. There will be a general discussion of each entry by the assembled membership followed by a vote for the best entry. This is fun event so see if you can come up with some different ideas.
